The Bard’s Not That Hard is the perfect way to introduce and rediscover the inspiring world of William Shakespeare and find out why his remarkable plays are still being performed 400 years on. Delivered by theatre professionals, GSC’s fun and practical evening classes are designed to help you discover The Bard in a fun and supportive environment.

We explore Shakespeare’s great plays through close reading, group discussion and practical exercises in our professional rehearsal room.
This is not an acting class and there will be tea and biscuits!
Spring Term - RADIO RECORDING
Tuesday evenings, 7-9pm, 18 Apr – 23 May
Venue: GSC HQ, 14/15 Midleton Road, Guildford, GU2 8XW.*
Join us very special 6 week term, as we rehearse a specially cut version of The Merchant of Venice then record it at Eagle Radio.
We will explore our characters, their voice and the impact of the surrounding environment, under the direction of GSC’s trained directors and actors. We will then head to the Eagle Radio studios, where professional producers will guide us through the recording process and present us with a fully mixed radio play.

Course Fee: £120
No experience of Shakespeare or acting necessary and all ages welcome.
