GSC Saturdays

Saturday Drama Club

Every Saturday we ignite the imagination of young actors in small friendly groups (max of 18). Working with professional actors and stage combat instructors, they play fun games, rehearse plays, strengthen their confidence and learn more about the exciting world of theatre.

Last term, we performed scenes from King Lear on The Holy Trinity Church set and recorded short audio-plays with Eagle Radio.

Listen to our version of Macbeth here. To listen to the rest, please visit our Teaching Resources Page.

This term we will be devising our own version of Wind in the Willows. Join us as we work together to create characters, tell stories, learn new skills and make good friends.

GSC Drama Sprites

GSC Drama Sprites

Now in its third year, we host a series of after-school Drama Clubs in Primary Schools.

GSC Drama Sprites will teach your child to tell stories in a fun and interactive way, to create characters, to use their imaginations and to work and play as a team. Drama helps build confidence and teaches better communication skills. We will even explore a Shakespeare character or two! Above all we will have FUN!

These are currently at Queen Eleanor’s C of E Junior School (2 classes) and Sandfield Primary School.

Holiday Clubs

Our drama isn't just limited to term-time. We hold a variety of workshops and clubs in the school holidays. Last summer we performed Twelfth Night and Beauty and the Beast. This autumn we created our very own play, based on the Surrey folk tale Mathew Trigg and The Pharisees (that's what fairies were called in these parts).
