GSC Saturdays

Saturday Drama Club

Every Saturday we ignite the imagination of young actors in small friendly groups (max of 18). Working with professional actors and stage combat instructors, they play fun games, rehearse plays, strengthen their confidence and learn more about the exciting world of theatre.

In the first half of this term, we performed scenes from King Lear on The Holy Trinity Church set. In the second half, we will be recording short audio-plays with Eagle Radio.

Join us next term and we'll learn how to work together, create characters, tell stories and get to grips with Shakespeare's wonderful text.

GSC Drama Sprites

GSC Drama Sprites

Now in its third year, we host a series of after-school Drama Clubs in Primary Schools.

GSC Drama Sprites will teach your child to tell stories in a fun and interactive way, to create characters, to use their imaginations and to work and play as a team. Drama helps build confidence and teaches better communication skills. We will even explore a Shakespeare character or two! Above all we will have FUN!

These are currently at Queen Eleanor’s C of E Junior School (2 classes) and Sandfield Primary School.

To Join

For an application form simply email us and we'll send the appropriate one out to you.

Holiday Drama

Holiday Clubs

Our drama isn't just limited to term-time. We hold a variety of workshops and clubs in the school holidays. Last summer we performed Twelfth Night and Beauty and the Beast. This autumn we created our very own play, based on the Surrey folk tale Mathew Trigg and The Pharisees (that's what fairies were called in these parts).
