Strap yourself in for Shakespeare’s ultimate rollercoaster of comedy chaos, as two sets of identical twins arrive in the same town, on the same day, completely unaware of the other’s existence!

Shakespeare’s shortest play is a glorious confection of confusion and slapstick comedy, as wives, debtors, friends and even the twins themselves are caught up in the mayhem which ensues.

Staged between Guildford’s Castle Keep and the Bandstand, The Comedy of Errors reunited last year’s Alice in Wonderland Director/Designer team of Charlotte Conquest and PJ McEvoy.

‘A masterclass in slapstick… the GSC are proven, skilled craftsmen and you won’t see Shakespeare produced better anywhere else (sorry Stratford).’

Remote Goat *****

‘The whole cast were brilliant at catching the madcap humour of the play.’

London Theatre1 *****

'Amazing show last night. My family and I laughed so much. Spectacularly good – we are so lucky to have them in Guildford!’

‘What an amazing hilarious performance of A Comedy of Errors… and what a wonderful first introduction into Shakespeare for my young fellas. They absolutely loved it…’
